Manicure and Pedicure

A great course for those of you who have a passion for pampering and being pampered! And for those of you with un-used or home kits containing implements that you don’t know how to use!! It’s also a lovely introduction to the beauty world for all budding therapists. A popular treatment, it is ideal to start building up a client base and earn money before enlarging your treatment list.
This is an intensive 2 day course taking you through all aspects of nail construction and care. This is an insurable course and you will be able to offer this treatment to the public. If you are a practicing therapist, this course will award you CPD points.
Day 1 will cover;
-Health and Safety
- Contra-indication check lists
- Understanding the equipment
- Understanding pathogens
- Theory and anatomy of nail structure
- Cuticle work
- Painting the nails
- The manicure routine, including massage of the area
- Practical work on each other
- Homework
Day 2 will cover;
-Recap manicure routine
-Discussion of luxury and alternative manicure/pedicure treatments
-Introduction of pedicure equipment
-Contra-indications
-Pedicure routine and procedure
-Aftercare advice
-Practical work on each other
-Written assessment.
